From May 19 to 26, a youth exchange was held in Berane as part of the digitalvscorrupt project, which brought together 60 young people from 14 countries. During eight days, participants learned about various forms of corruption, ways of recognizing it, reporting it and preventing it through workshops, practical tasks, simulations, informal education and joint activities.
The project coordinators and organizers of the youth exchange are EPEKA Montenegro NGO – Zoran Dabetić and Belma Muratović.
The project is funded by the European Union.
The second day of the exchange was devoted to the topic of Corruption in the business sector. The workshop was led by Dr Mila Minovska from North Macedonia, partner from @institute_arb, who first introduced the participants to the basic concepts of corruption, and then to the specifics of corruption in the business environment.
In the continuation of the workshop, the participants were divided into six groups, where they analyzed specific cases through different scenarios and used the prepared Toolkit and Manual for the topic of corruption in the business sector. In this way, young people tested the developed materials, learned how to recognize corrupt practices and how to react and report corruption in the business environment.
